I hope ICE's car died doing that. I'd rather get a jump from someone else, frankly.
ICE is so pathetically desperate for some good PR that they’re tweeting about helping someone jump a car in the cold weather

It's honestly fucked up that there are people saying that Minnesota is fighting against our own country when we genuinely just want our neighbors to stop being terrorized at best or kidnapped or murdered at worst.

If you have not read Let This Radicalize You, you need to read this chapter that @mskellymhayes.bsky.social and @prisonculture.bsky.social put out awhile back. Like, right now.

People on the coast have their own problems. Like Gavin.
If you are out there trying to rub Minnesota's face in Kamala Harris's loss because you're too idiotic to realize that Minnesota voted overwhelmingly for her fuck you, go fuck yourself, and go fuck off.

The condescension of people on the coasts against people in the Midwest is disgusting

I appreciate those out there protesting at great risk to their lives however i think the nation needs to grind this economy to a dead stop.
It's something everyone can do safely. No spending on ANYTHING but absolute necessities.
I understand some shut ins can not do this but very many of us can.

This did not age well.
Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

We are going to win.

They should give up now. We could prevent a lot of harm.

This was a whole lot of words to say absolutely nothing. Let’s end the era where these corporations control politicians.
A letter released Sunday by the leaders of more than 60 Minnesota companies — including the CEOs of Target, General Mills, UnitedHealth Group and 3M — called for local and federal leaders to “come together to foster progress.”
Live: Minnesota's high-profile CEOs break silence, call for ‘immediate deescalation’
The letter marks a notable shift from Minnesota’s top employers, who had previously remained quiet about the surge of immigration officials in the state and the killing of Renee Good.

protesters staged a noise vigil at a hotel and federal agents are defending the hotel with tear gas, despite the hotel being a public place with other people staying there. As far as I can tell.

Oh thank God the Local Cops have arrived to. . . . Save the Murderers?
Minneapolis, MN -

Many many more agents filing into the area around the hotel. Minneapolis PD announcing everyone is under arrest, telling them to sit down with their hands up. An ad hoc journalist squad being told to go further down the street. Chemicals irritant deployed in the road.

Fucking collaborators.
Prospect Park, Home 2 Suites by Hilton. Protesters banging trash cans, pots and pans. Broke a window. Looked like one MPD officer casually holding them at bay in lobby until a Federal Bureau of Prisons team arrived and let loose with gas, smoke, less lethal rounds.
Minneapolis, MN -

After FPS agents went into the hotel, shot teargas and kinetic munitions into the crowd assembled outside he wanted to know where the PD is to the press. I asked if he has a message for the community members that wanted out. No response. None to the mayor either.

The local police are really concerned about ICE agents’ sleep hygiene I guess. “This is just like Call of Duty” sound bites aside, the aimless stumbling and drunken guy with a shotgun/launcher tells me morale is in the fucking toilet.

Let's be clear: The systems to replace police and the entire criminal justice system?

They've been thought of. There's names for them.

They've been piloted and they work.

You know what gets in the way? The fear-mongering from the mainstream media, the police, and local/state officials.
We are fully showing how we can provide community safety without police.

We don’t need them.

Abolition on every level.

ICE & other fed agents just ambushed the noise demo in Prospect Park Minneapolis, after a long lull. They started by immediately lobbing tear gas at protesters & firing less lethals. A BOP officer who is bleeding is guarding the door as the press ask him for comment. www.youtube.com/live/IVzSWdT...

So… boycotts aren’t temporary. When I start boycotting, I am DONE.

But don’t panic. I know that it might be scary to think you’ll never do another Target run etc, but believe me: you will find *better* alternatives. You’ll have less garbage. You will enjoy things more.

Let go. It will be okay.
