I would like more people to understand that LLMs *fundamentally* will *never* reliably halt undesirable outputs—e.g., elaborating suicide or explosive-making plans, sycophancy that facilitates the emergence of mental health disorders. To achieve such an end, you need a completely new architecture.

Katie just called me. She is being held by Homeland Security at the Whipple Federal Building down by the airport.
They have not told her anything. No word on release, no word on charges. Nothing. Ridiculous. But she is fine and in good spirits.
Her attorney is en route there right now.
