No doubt the DOGE effort is reducing the number of quality data inputs for the GFS model (and therefore degrading the outputs), but the problems with the GFS have existed for longer. Most of the time it trails behind the ECMWF and CMC models. Its performance also seems worse in summer. Here’s 6/20:

At the corner of Hennepin and Lagoon Avenues in Minneapolis, the Uptown Theatre’s façade sports a Transtifa tag just above its marquee on a bright and sunny late autumn day (2021-11-30). All the storefronts are closed and have their windows boarded up due to the uprising and pandemic.

Hi, everyone! @governorwalz.mn.gov betrayed public workers and wants to micromanage us with an unworkable concept of a plan while he himself teleworks across the country fundraising. This reeks of DOGE.
