Oh, and about that fifty cent scrap bin—got a whole load of rags for cleaning, as well as a 6 foot by 8.5 foot lace bedspread(?) that’ll be turned into clothing soon, and a wonderful handmade nightgown that only needed the straps repaired

It was a struggle, but I think I’ve figured out how to style this blouse now, and I can fulfill the sweet lady’s request to wear it and enjoy it! It’s still not one I’d normally choose, but it can be a delightful part of a retro outfit when styled with care.

I haven’t looked into the drone hubbub at all, but any time there’s a UFO sighting I have to remember my brother’s friend who would attach random blinking colored lights to drones/balloons/RC Helicopters and send them up after dark specifically to make people think they were UFOs.
