i'm writing a screenplay called Heart Of A Champion about a guy who has a cold and has to sneeze and blow his nose all the time, but still gets a lot of work done on the computer. not sure yet but i think it'll probably wind up being a christian movie

when a poor person uses food stamps for a steak or homeless person spends $5 on a beer, it’s seen as proof that all poor people are so bad with money that they shouldn’t be given any, ever, for any reason. $77 billion out the window, and zuck’s legacy as a safe government contract bet is secure.
Mark Zuckerberg’s gamble on the "Metaverse" has lost his company more than $77 billion.

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

one thing I have come to believe, as someone who grew up deeply skeptical of the "authentic expression / sold out" dichotomy is that however true or false it was objectively, the taboo on "selling out" was societally load-bearing

We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.

Eric Adams is amazing because when he won every media person was leaping over each to go “this is the normal sane leadership that the political left doesn’t understand normal sane Americans crave” and then every day since that Eric Adams has been like “Leprechauns are real and I’m going to cook one”

The simplest response to Cuomo's rent controlled apartment smear is "hey why arent they all rent controlled?" Means-testing has always been solely a means of making social welfare programs and interventions unpopular and doomed to fail.
