I think many people crave an alternative to the current zeitgeist, but is anyone offering a coherent alternative? I’d like to see a Democratic Party that comes out strongly against stuff like crypto, sports betting, oligarchic media capture, etc. These things are bad. Stand against them.

The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

In Santa Fe, NM, we had five times the turnout today compared with June, notwithstanding that there were 25 separate protests across the state of New Mexico. This seems to be consistent across the US. bsky.app/profile/gell...
