This has been driving me extra crazy, that every time I hear him asked about something trump is like “I don’t know anything about that,” and it’s just accepted as an answer. Bitch you’re the President!!
Amazing that Trump openly admitted he is entirely clueless about the details of Abrego Garcia's case and it wasn't a story. On the pod, we spoke to a researcher into MS-13 who found people are constantly misidentified as members. Really remarkable stuff.

Trump’s Ugly New Eruptions over Abrego Garcia Wreck His Own Arguments
As Trump accidentally exposes the weakness of his own case against Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an expert on MS-13 takes us inside what this gang really is—and why tying this man to the group is implausible.

One of the things that you see at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina is a Jim Crow era Coke machine that was designed to fit into a segregated bus station. One machine two sides.

The Coke cost more on the Black side.
Amazing how many articles are just “I’m a white guy who didn’t get the promotion I wanted and the only answer to this problem that concerns every single one of us is to re-segregate the workplace”

They’re siccing dogs on people. True villains.
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

I wonder if some people define working just as “time spent wearing a suit”
Sen. Roger Marshall on Trump's health: "I'll work 110 hours a week. He outworks me. He's the first person I've ever known that works harder than I do. He runs around that golf course. He's in incredible shape right now. And you talk about sharp! He's playing 4 dimensional chess"

“All these men are replaceable” needs to be etched on the moon or something so we never forget its eternal truth
All these men are replaceable. In many cases the people they harassed and drove off by being unprofessional, cruel, and/or inappropriate are more capable than they are.

Horror after horror
In Chicago, a woman was driving to get coffee when a DHS vehicle fleeing an angry crowd crashed into her car. Armed agents jumped out of the vehicle, yanked her door open, pulled her by the legs out of her car at gunpoint, held her incommunicado for hours, then released her with no charges.

This is the reality of Trump’s America: Your neighbors are being abducted, disappeared, and killed; free speech is an arrest-able offense; children and a FIFTH of the nation’s capitol are set to go hungry next month, and the president is busy demolishing the East Wing.

There are a million reasons to feel good about cancelling Spotify, this is just the biggest
OK folks, here's the deal. Spotify is running ICE recruitment ads and has ignored asks to stop. It's time to tell them we won't stream fascism - by cancelling our subscriptions. Here's how to get started: indivisible.org/cancel-spotify

On the nope hardness scale I’m maybe at quartz rather than diamond, but one thing I’m certainly done with is this cutesy-poo “maybe I’ll run” bullshit. If you want to be president get out there and fight for it, if you don’t please go away

Republicans on the Supreme Court are poised to gut the law that finally ended Jim Crow, and Southern Republicans are eager to gerrymander Black voters out of representation like it’s 1925 again
North Carolina’s GOP just enacted a new congressional gerrymander to win an 11-3 GOP majority in a swing state by targeting Black Dem Don Davis.

They already gerrymandered a 10-4 edge in 2024 by replacing a fairer map that split 7-7 in 2022.

Again, every time this happens, we literally have no idea if the masked, plainclothes people are actual government agents, or private citizens acting in party-affiliated paramilitaries. The whole point of IDs & uniforms & no masks is that we know these things.

AIDE: Great announcement, Mr. President!
TRUMP, FLOATING UPWARDS: Yeah, but I can only make it once!
There's speculation at the Pentagon and elsewhere that President Trump this afternoon will announce that the Department of Defense is going to revert back to being the Department of War (created in 1789 and dissolved in 1947).

There can’t be any gun restrictions because we have to protect against federal government tyranny, and if kids get shot we just have to live with it. Also the President can send troops to cities because the federal government can do whatever it wants. These two ideas are consistent and reasonable.
