“Which means that Copenhagen, a city of 1.2 million people, saves $357 million a year on health costs because something like 80% of its population commutes by bike.” #CityMakingMath

Some costs aren’t costs.
One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss
Copenhagen, the bicycle-friendliest place on the planet, publishes a biannual Bicycle Account, and buried in its pages is a rather astonishing fact.

Everyone is already saying this in the replies but the magic button is "I will cancel the fucking bullshit illegal tariffs that he's using to make everything more expensive"
Look, I think that the Democrats should be hitting the Republicans on cost-of-living issues, we should hit them on everything. But I don’t know how much weight we should give it, not just given the gravity of authoritarianism issues, but also, we don’t have a magic “lower price“ button either
The poll also finds that 67% of voters disapprove of the way Trump is handling the cost of living- up from his already very high disapproval on the issue this summer.

The cost of living is the number one issue for voters across the country.
