It’s $9.99, no subscription, no upsells. Built it for my own workflow, figured other iOS devs might want it too. apps.apple.com/us/app/wirev...

What I had before: screenshot on phone > tap the corner preview > copy to clipboard > wait > cmd+v on mac > wait. Or just screenshot QuickTime Player which is somehow worse.

The flow I wanted: plug in device > cmd+C on Mac > cmd+V into Slack/Linear. That’s it.

I built WireView because I got tired of an annoying workflow for sharing iOS screenshots at work.

It’s a tiny app that captures screenshots and recordings from your iPhone/iPad over USB and copies them straight to your clipboard. No AirDrop or Universal Clipboard delays. apple.co/3Mvt9V5

In 2025, I took 1,021 images. Out of curiosity, I summed the total shutter time to see how many seconds of reality I captured. 27.5 seconds.

We wanted to shout out our friend and Lickability alum, @samhenri.gold, and spotlight a couple things he’s written, been working on, or brought to our attention lately!

First: an in-depth look at how he finds and crushes bugs in iOS apps he’s developed.

oh also in 4.0.1 they changed the height of the lower bars to be taller lmao

In 4.0.1, they changed these values to be way smoother.Mapped onto a chart, you can see that it takes a lot to drop from 5 to 0 bars. It’s harder to see 5 bars, but it’s harder to plummet bars.
October 7, 2025 at 12:51 AM
When you plot this onto a chart, you can see how the values are kinda screwed up since the values are really optimistic. Most of the time, you would see 4-5 bars. But when you gripped it, since the falloff is so sharp, you’d see a catastrophic drop from 5 to 2 bars.
