Ireland, trans, bi, mostly use he/him. Here mostly to keep tabs on what the vibes are in the broader Irish community. If I have to see arguments about youtubers I'll explode. Currently 32.
"a video about bi vs pan with 2 pansexual guests? Eh, the podcast is OK, it'll be fine while I wash the dishes. I need practice getting over my prejudice about pansexuals being shitty to bi people"

> video is 90m of people flattening the bi experience and label to evangelise pansexuality as a label

I love the Dropkick Murphys because "Irish-American" + "gen X" + "punk rocker who's been at it for 30 years" should be the formula for the most racist guy alive but instead Ken Casey is constantly giving interviews where he's like "fascists are demons from hell and that's where they belong"

The real tragedy in this whole Enoch Burke thing remains that, all this foolishness aside, he clearly has the exact temperament, judgement, humour, and cool vibes you'd want in your child's teacher.

I feel like we as a society have crashed into a century long double talk where X% of the population that assumed we all cared about CSA, Y% that assumed we all knew it was just a cudgel to beat undesirables and Z% understood it as a Normal Thing that must be disavowed for clout, now see each other

Feels like it should be bigger news that a journalist known for being loud about her investigations into banks/payment processors appears to be getting financially stonewalled by the entire industry unaminously right now.
The full count as of today:

YouTube suspended
Twitch banned 3x
Patreon suspended (temporary)
Patreon 3x audio flags (one false posi)
Ko-fi suspended (indefinite?)
Buy Me a Coffee suspended
Vice reporting censored
Pornhub censored 3x times
Fansly censored 1x
Is it really a conspiracy to say Ana is being explicitly flagged by finance bros when she's now been banned (or censored) from Twitch, Patreon, Buy Me A Coffee, Ko-Fi, and *PornHub*??

oregon was supposed to be a mini ethnostate and if you go there you can TELL
I think we need to be careful with conflating "leans Democratic" with "not racist" Maine has a long legacy of racism. So does Oregon which is a blue state. Oregon was literally conceived as a white supremacist fever dream. And the KKK ruled Indiana for a period.

Most woke opinion: everyone should try transitioning just to see if they like it.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Buses on college routes are tortuous. 20 people packed like sardines downstairs, go upstairs, seats free. Bus stops, people go downstairs to get oft. No-one comes upstairs to take their seats. 5 more people standing downstairs. I do not understand these people at all.

Look Frankenstein is not even my favourite movie of the year, but this movie diverges so much from the book and every change conveys one of the books key themes of the book - Victor's failure to be a parent, his ambition, and how both of these things combine to perpetuate a cycle of hideous violence
Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” adaptation is weighed down by its own beauty and fidelity to its source material, David Sims writes:
Frankenstein Should Experiment More
Guillermo del Toro’s new adaptation is beautiful but familiar.

Ten years in prison for tipping a cam model to masturbate.

The Crime and Policing Bill is working overtime to re-criminalize sex work ... which I guess will give them crime and more funds for policing.

Hidden in the controversial about UK "choking ban" proposal are a host of even more egregious proposals that could:

* make camming illegal
* redefine escort ads as pimping
* render model contracts unenforceable
* criminalize discussions of teen sexuality

And a whole lot more ...
Moral panic about rough sex gives way to censorship in the UK
British regulators and lawmakers are hot on a measure that would make possessing or publishing strangulation porn a crime.

Month 3 since we've reported a broken front door to the landlady and she's still claiming to be helpless and looking for quick fixes despite being in the housing business for 50 years. I am now handing her the company who did my parents doors, because she "doesn't know anyone in that area"
