The involvement of Lina Khan in the Mamdani administration is a very positive development. Probably the biggest way New Yorkers could benefit from antitrust action is in stopping the collusion among landlords, which has a tremendous impact on inflating rents.

I think it's still Moscow on the Hudson. Hard to believe now, but to a lot of us in the US in the eighties, Russians were abstract villains. Williams's performance helped me to see them as regular people.
