DS9 and Voyager both did a great job of that. New friends, new enemies, radically different locales.
DS9 is my favorite Trek so I’m certainly biased but they just took many of the expectations about what Star Trek was “supposed to be” and obliterated them. And it worked! They probably could have done TNG 2 and coasted but instead they made something great.

Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

Please dress properly while we delay your flight.
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

I'm so busy lately being embarrassed by A&M, UT, TX State, Tech, etc., I haven't had time lately to feel embarrassed for OU. But I'm embarrassed for OU. They've tried so hard to level up at that university, against all odds, and arresting profs w/ foreign accents isn't going to help matters.

My paper recently ran a story, "Why retired generals are staying silent about Trump." Some didn't want to go on the record w/me, and one today pointed to Pete Hegseth saying DoD would investigate Sen. Mark Kelly. It's all about retribution. www.expressnews.com/news/texas/a... via @expressnews
Why retired generals are staying silent about Trump: They're scared.
Under military law, generals who speak out could be prosecuted for "contemptuous" statements about the president. "I have worried about retribution," says one.

OK, I just looked: Adlai Stevenson's last campaign manager had been dead for 34 years in 1992. Which I think supports my point.

Rogue One is the ONLY one of the Star Wars films that I have only seen once.
if your view of rogue one is that it is a "well-acted and well-written action flick" then i'm just going to assume you've never seen a movie before

The thing about Carville's piece is that it's a perfect example of the way centrists can't write literally anything without getting in a few jabs at the left/minorities. It's entirely possible to run on "economic rage," sure. There's no need to go, "And remember what some people on Tumblr said??"
