And Nigel Farage is benefitting from the wreckage.

This was always my greatest fear with Brexit - that it would bring about stagnant conditions that favour extreme populism.

Much like drug addiction causes crashes that make the drug more seductive.

Apart from just being fond of having rights it is worth remembering that the proposed Tory replacement to this under Raab stripped away key parts of our rights on the sly placing them at the whim of the government - precisely what universal rights are supposed to avoid.

The only other huge issue will be tackling the mess of corrupt Freeports where big corps are being given huge tax breaks and land is being privatised. Apparently, Sunak saddled us with contracts of 25 years. Private companies are running Freeports with tax payers money. That's your Brexit mess.
