There's lots you can and should criticise the BBC for.

But it's our BBC - and it's important.

Great to speak to CNN - Donald Trump shouldn't have his hands anywhere near our public services.
Zack Polanski on President Trump, "It's difficult to call him anything other than a fool"

"This is sociopathic behaviour"

"He is toxic, misogynistic, racist"

"I'm not a fan of Trump"

Christiane Amanpour, "It's pretty clear"

Agree
So Wes Streeting allies want him to become Prime Minister - for the Labour Government to tank even faster.

We don't have time to play these silly games - people are suffering now.

Keep growing the alternative - they need replacing.

Embarassing. If this patriotism it looks more like a carnival of stupidity.

They push right wing policies, see the effect, and do a reverse ferret.

They have not said they will increase taxes. They have not said they won't. They have dangled the idea out. It was the same with the wfp, etc.

They are not governing. This is playground politics. 4/4

Many ,but the world does nothing. It's so wrong , will they ever be held to account for their horrific war crimes ? I just despair at all the innocent people being murdered by them.

If I was being cynical I'd say they floated the income tax rise to push gilts down during the OBR measurement period. But that would require a level of advanced planning that seems unlikely.

Jeff Bezos paid $50 million for a wedding. He just got a $16 billion tax break. He just laid off 60,000 people.

And you're furious about a kid getting a free school lunch?

Me too.
Tired: I got an Irish passport.

Wired and British conservative-pilled: Owing to ancestral rights from the times bygone, in addition to being a proud British citizen, I have acquired the right to move freely across civilised Europe.

Awful...... Shocking. All to appease the far right Israeli regime no doubt.

So be it.
Starmer and Reeves wave white flags on tough decisions yet still oversee the collapse of the Labour vote as frustrated voters on the Left go to Greens, Centre to Plaid, LibDems or SNP and the Right to Reform that will lead their own MPs to replace them sooner rather than later

Futile cowardice

They are a car crash.
Thanks to months of pitch rolling, the Labour government has now effectively told anyone paying attention that income tax rises are necessary, but they’re not going to do them because they’re politically weak. Let’s see how that plays!

My old MP. He was decent for a Tory. Remember having a meeting with him after Referendum, he was great. We were both on the same page ,knew Brexit was awful.
Ken Clarke rips Reform to pieces, they don't know what they are talking about, they don't know what they are doing, they resigned instantly when they realised they couldn't do the job.

Our discontent and rage is against the damage the Tories ,Labour and Reform ,' Farage' have done to our country post Brexit, with the help of the toxic billionaire owned press and media. Stoking more anti migrant hate whilst making us poorer, helping private equity and big corporates get richer.
Our discontent is not about migration, only racists use that argument. Our discontent is about the absolute failure of the political establishment to govern in the national interest. Post Brexit they have all been crooked as hell, selling the country out and themselves to crooked US lobbyists!!!

Correct , and that's why Labour are an absolute car crash and failure. Veering far right and looking absolutely ridiculous, causing more division and discontent as they chase Reform vote. McSweeney needs removing , noone voted for this control freak to run this country down and remove our rights.
The Labour MP on bbcqt credited McSweeney with getting Labour elected and seemed to suggest that this gave him free rein to run the govt irrespective of how poorly equipped he might be for the task.

Labour ,Tories and Reform really need to paid back in kind for all the political damage they've done to the country. Stoking anti migrant hate and division with media, giving us a hard Brexit , giving billionaires a free pass tax , selling out this country, killing public services , making us pay.

Because Starmer is weak and has never been his own man , he likes cos playing statesman, and the perks , but had no real interest in really changing our country for the better. That is crystal clear. He is just another version of Blair who sold his soul for greed.
I don't know why he's been kept on post so long, although I also know that anyone on his position will always be resented by other - elected - ministers simply because they have the ear of the PM and act as gatekeepers e.g. Cummings.
