Batteries cost merely an extra £4k on the cost of a house.

I know the turbines switch off as the energy clogs the inadequate network to England. But why can’t the people near the turbines (AKA Scotland) then get free energy instead of companies being paid to switch off.

Quite right. These petrol/deisel cars are helping to kill 40,000 people in the UK every year through #AirPollution. If SUVs were a country they would be the 6th largest polluter in the world.
