Are you fed up seeing @UKLabour trying to criticise our NHS?
Me too.
"With waiting lists falling in Scotland but rising in England, this shows the benefit of taking crucial decisions here in Scotland – rather than leaving them to an out of touch Westminster government."

Indeed…..

Quite the accidental autobiography……
“Have these people lost their minds?” he wrote. He accused the former judge of “breathtaking inconsistency” and being “hopelessly incoherent”.

.@theferret.scot reveals over 9d Navy sent 130 emails, had 5 meetings & made many calls urging Sepa to keep #nuclearpollution secret.
Naval officials warned of legal action, & were “deeply uncomfortable” with releasing information.
They also met with Information Commissioner 😱.

Overseas Doctors looking for specialist jobs ⬆️40%, UK applicants ⬆️16%. Tory govt pledged to x2 medical school places by 2031, but didn’t expand specialty training places. Tory short-sightedness or maybe wanted cheap resident docs without more expensive (but trained) speciality docs? #WastedDoctors

So greed won
Earth lost
Our grandkids will not forgive you.

What a shitty betrayal from the orange Russian asset.

“The Donald Trump peace plan is nothing of the sort. It takes Russian demands & presents them as peace proposals, in what is effectively for Ukraine a surrender ultimatum.”

Telegraph would become part of DMGT media organisation ie i Paper, Metro, New Scientist, Daily Mail & Mail on Sunday.

The group said the #Telegraph would remain editorially independent from DMGT's other titles. 😂😂😂😂

Doctor here
Wish I could be angry
But spent it all when:
- I checked daily in March - still no lockdown
- I used plastic seat covers for gowns
- I scoured DIY shops for masks
- Govt refused my PPE contacts in China
- Sunak’s ‘eat out & die’
- hand washing for known airborne virus

We need to do more - judicious masking & air filters.
Over 3y follow-up, individuals with SARS-CoV-2 infection had significantly higher risks of developing HPV-related cancers: 67% increase in cervical cancer, 131% vaginal cancer, 98% vulvar cancer, 92% anal cancer, & 78% oropharyngeal cancer.

Good to see.
Calves are separated from mothers within 24h of birth.
It allows farmers to collect milk the calves would drink & sell it.
But one farmer in Scotland is pioneering an unconventional method of commercial dairy farming - keeping cow & calf together for about 6m.

We needed that #plastic treaty bounced by big oil.
Seabirds face extreme risk after swallowing just 23 pieces of plastic, (90% chance of dying). Marine mammals reach similar danger at 29, sea turtles 405.
Less than a soccer ball's worth can be fatal to a dolphin.

So many deniers now online.
How have we got to such a rubbish filled media full of people/bots with no science knowledge, proud to flout their ignorance?
Past 12m hottest ever recorded globally.
Every year since 2015 has been among 10 warmest on record.
2024 temp 1.48 °C above pre-industrial levels

Struggling with how unprepared we are…
Anyone else?
Builders, local councils building “to a standard that’s fit for today, not for 2070 or 2080, when much more extreme weather”.
58% of retail space in flood risk areas uninsured, 50% of offices.
As #flooding⬆️ & we do nil, we are in for heartbreak.

Doctor here…
He misuses a tiny 2012 study (115 kids). They had less flu after the shot, a small blip in other viruses wasn’t “immune damage.” Many larger studies since, across many flu seasons show no increase in non-flu infections.
If risk were 4× higher, surveillance would see it.
It doesn’t.

Using heat from #DataCentres should be standard.
We need regulation.
They use ~2.5% of UK's electricity (x4 by 2030)
Big ones MUST use renewables & ones like these supported.
Thermify put small data centres into homes. Generated heat warms the home. Thermify charges customers for data work

It is sad. Starmer never seemed to be onside, look at comments from the past eg in The Times, Starmer criticised “NIMBYs & environmentalists” who he said have “stymied economic progress” in UK, saying complex environmental regulations “add millions to cost of development & cause lengthy delays”.
November 16, 2025 at 2:11 AM
In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we found that the risk of myocarditis is more than seven fold higher in persons who were infected with the SARS-CoV-2 than in those who received the vaccine”
November 16, 2025 at 1:58 AM
We never thought it was.
Nature is not a blocker to housing, inquiry by MPs found, in direct conflict with claims made by ministers.
The chair of environmental audit committee, said nature was being scapegoated, & rather than being a block to growth, it was necessary for building resilient towns.

Saudi climate obstruction⬆️. A plan to cap plastic collapsed after Saudi opposition.
Carbon tax on shipping stymied after Saudi called for postponement. Even at UN desertification summit, nations failed to agree on drought prevention because Saudi refused to allow mention of climate in agreement.

“UK Labour Govt must now confirm that the Scottish Government will receive an equivalent share of this funding, with the same conditions for managing & distributing the funding.
Scotland has been short-changed by Westminster, & treated as an afterthought, far too many times”
November 15, 2025 at 9:13 PM
“Stove Association is involved in consultation process on the Cleaner Air for Scotland Strategy, representing a serious conflict of interest. Tobacco companies wouldn’t be consulted on health policies, so why is the SA whose claims found to be misleading be guiding a public health strategy?”

Data show these assertions to be false.
Unpasteurised milk can be dangerous & cause serious infections.
Why do you think they do it in the 1st place?
Don’t drink unpasteurised milk.
