On a lark, I applied for a booth at my local grocery store co-op's arts festival and got accepted! So while I'm taking the rest of November off from event-ing, looks like I'll be back at it in December! Please come by (I will try to have more art-oriented non-book merch before then 😅).

Outside of the obvious "hating injustice or general shittiness," bringing up Alan's great-grandfather, a famous pirate, is a fast way to piss him off, manifesting as him being even snippier than usual 😅. Sven cries when he's angry, Colin is cold, and Valtra curses excessively.

Triple Strike is PG-13 but there are a few hints that Alan and Sven are into bdsm haha. Specifically they like role playing "kidnapped inspector and cruel pirate captain" (emphasis on bondage and flogging), and you can bet your bottom dollar Alan does sometimes wonder What It Says About Him.

Expected to like Frankenstein but found it meh in practice >_<. Also thought I wouldn’t notice the “Netflix look” but yeah, the lighting and CGI is vaguely off putting and the cinematography was like a handful of compelling shots amid…meh 😔.
