It's got a lot of writer specific humor and is an exploration into motivation to write.

The full rainbow gradient is masterful in the subtle transitions. I can’t help but gawk even more and say, “Wow, so beautiful.” “My backside or the tattoo?” she asks playfully. “I was commenting on the tattoo. I try to refrain from commenting on a co-worker’s anatomy. Hey, we don’t have an HR department, do we?” Not sure my usual method of using humor to distract from awkwardness is the healthiest response, but it has gotten me this far. Realizing I’m still staring, I squirt some lotion on my hands. I take a breath and nervously start rubbing it into the skin of this goddess before me. Still keeping her voice quiet, she says, “Thank you, I like to call it my rainbow phoenix. I went through a really bad time a while back. In fact, despite barely knowing me, Rachel is the one who pulled me out of that Hell. I like it as a reminder of that fresh start and taking control back over my life.”
