Update: I DID IT!! I had a massive German shepherd neuter but he was a very good boy and the surgery went off without a hitch. (And I’m quite proud with how my incision closure looks)
I'm preparing for my very first (and hopefully last because I'm a pathology gremlin through and through) surgery on a live patient tomorrow 😬 Quaking in my boots a bit but trying to go in feeling confident.

Aloïs strongly follows the code of the Knights of the Edelweiss. I’d say she’s traditionally morally good. She works for the people, keeps them safe, and upholds the Knight’s code. Part of the Knight’s code is to give mercy to those that ask for it, and Aloïs is of the mindset that this extends 1/2

I had the pleasure of reading The Drowned Heir for SFINCS and it’s seriously such a good novella. I loved the concept and the worldbuilding in it.
