Bear shifter romance?!? 😍
A cop on a murder case gets a generationally bad hangover (possibly with scifi reality-warping fog involved) and get amnesia so bad, he forgot his personality. Then you, the player, can turn him into a liberal, a centrist, a fascist, or a lefty who hates cops so much he wonders why he became one.
So this plumber eats mushrooms to fight evil turtles to rescue a princess.
