average Dem strategist: we must focus on bipartisan policies that undercut Republican attacks

average Dem voter: having studied the denazification of Germany, we must raze the RNC and leave JD Vance clutching a single wool blanket in a cell after we strip him of everything

They're already shutting this stuff down. And giving the GOP this means they get the okay to continue shutting stuff down with NO WAY for Congress to push back. THIS is the pushback. Now. Here.
Gillibrand was shouting in the Dem senate meeting, condemning "no" faction. Phrase "this will not be a normal shutdown" reported widely, but according to TPM she also said:

“The VA will not be functioning ... the various NIH trials … will be shut down ... he will declare a state of emergency."

Friends, it's time for me to fess up to the fact that I'm in charge of naming moons. The last few years of this nonsense is my doing. They're holding my children and won't release them until there are at least 20 stupid moon names per month and I work the word "suppurating" into at least 9 per year.

The “blood worm moon,” so named for the reddish hue of its glow and the time of year it’s occurring, will be visible in every U.S. state.

He has had three guests: Charlie Kirk, Michael Savage, and Steve Bannon.

Message received; now we know exactly who Gavin Newsom is.

we're defunding those silly volcano scientists and replacing them with an innovative program whereby kids in your area can pay down interest on their student lunch debts by collecting old batteries and other e-waste in wheelbarrows and then dumping them directly into live calderas

As a cishet dude, when I see a Dem ditch trans rights, it sends a message: you ain't got no fight in you, no principles, just another empty suit.

Think I'm some too-online outlier? Go ask your expensive consultants why people don't bother to vote. It's because they know you're all empty suits.
This is basically the attitude of democrats up and down the ticket and it’s pathetic and unamerican
In a leaked recording, State Senator Elena Parent (D-42) said she’d vote for Republican transgender healthcare bans because trans rights are too “unpopular."

"You can go right to heck. I don’t think I will lose re-election based on you screaming at me"

Attempting to describe the current American political situation is a grimly laughable mindfck because it triggers all the mental alarm bells that are meant to help you avoid sounding “unhinged” or “dramatic” in polite conversation when really we’re just in an objectively insane situation

What could be more fitting than migrants being imprisoned in a Panamanian high rise that likely only exists as a money laundering scheme for global oligarchs?

Total attendance for Major League Baseball was 71 million. Average player salary $4.6 million. ~1000 players. For a total of $4.6 billion. Before you pay a coach or a hot dog vendor. I guess the National Parks don't have TV rights, but you get the picture.
Thank you, DOGE, for clearly visualizing what incredible value the American people get from their national parks. 17,700 permanent employees making an average of $81,000 a year serving 325 million visitors annually.

Is there a better value in the entire federal government?

Just thinking a lot about how Democrats responded to public pressure by attempting to go into federal buildings and giving up immediately when stopped by security and how apt of a metaphor that is.

Imagine if they had pushed back. Gotten detained, thrown out, arrested. These are choices.
