Note that any book with an LGBTQ+ theme is automatically considered sexually explicit and removed.
Pay attention, Canada. If Alberta is successful in this book banning, this will spread. Look around you, b/c this is how it starts. We're on the same ledge the US was on. And we either start fighting this right-wing rise now, or we follow the Americans over the edge.

They put this into place without a proper way for local escalation; the end result of a a long line of decisions not wanting to have to deal with pesky customers nor with pesky employees.

These companies will eventually die.
The “efficiency” in this case is entirely to benefit the company, providing a ruling with no chance to appeal. Your human eyes don’t see a scrape? Who are you to challenge the machine?

Good:

* Poilievre isn't Prime Minister.
* Poilevre lost his own seat.

Bad:

* Everything has shifted substantially rightward.
* 40% of popular vote and +20 seats for Cons.
* Basically a two-party parliament of centre right and far right.
* Left leaning parties wiped out.
