Just a reminder that not everyone can boycott Walmart. It can be the only option sometimes. When I was living in the middle of nowhere in Arizona, disabled and poor, we had a car without air conditioning in the middle of the summer, I had to order Walmart delivery.

Imagine your sports team could cancel your public services and give the money to billionaires to buy yachts and private jets.

You'd stop cheering for that team pretty darn quick.

And that's what Carney has done in the 2025 federal budget.

This is my son, Ibrahim. Here, in our home, now reduced to dust, he used to dance on his
bed, filling the room with innocent laughter, untouched by war. That laughter was our true shelter... and that bed was his safe haven.

Personally, I'm not stoked about the idea of a Liberal majority.

Minority governments are better for democracy (despite the instability) because they require compromise and collaboration.

With a majority, CEO Carney would be in full effect.
Dimitri Soudas, former Harper comms guy, told RadCan this morning that he's hearing Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux will cross the floor to the Liberals today.

If this happens, the Liberals are one seat short of a majority. You know what that means.

That's right.

1.7 million people live in #Montreal

And the election is being decided by tens of thousands of votes.

Pathetic.
With 67,000 votes counted, Ensemble Montréal’s Soraya Martinez Ferrada has 48 per cent of the vote, ahead of Projet Montréal’s Luc Rabouin (33 per cent).

I don't understand how the majority of people agree that Israel committed genocide but Zionists are still welcome everywhere (like on this app). After the Holocaust people at least pretended for a few years that Nazi were not welcome

Can someone check if hell froze over? Because in a million years I never thought Matt Gaetz would ever say a word that made sense to me.
Matt Gaetz: “Apparently the Netanyahu crowd couldn’t resist a little more bloodshed. They had to launch a few more clarifying airstrikes – because nothing clarifies peace like dead children in Gaza or a dead civil servant in Lebanon.”

moi je suis en colère contre la patronat qui d'un côté dit que le transport en commun est essentiel à leur profitabilité et de l'autre côté qui ne veut pas payer d'impôts pour financer le transport en commun

c'est pas la grève le problème, c'est le manque de financement

If crime is way down, why are Canadians so afraid of crime? And what are politicians funnelling money into? My latest -- they are boosting policing to police us ... not keep us safe (unless you're rich, which trust me, you are not.)
