I feel like this is true for more things that people realize. A lot of discrimination is derived from people feeling like the world is not as it's "supposed" to be.
It's this sense of perfection, a resistance against an arbitrary idea of how a thing not being what it "should" be.

This kind of experiment has been carried out multiple times across several countries and every time the result is the same, so you'd think more places would implement it but no, they don't.

Create your own comfort media. From scratch. Nothing matches the joy of having a world where every last detail is something you can call your own, and can't be ruined by an obstinate company caving to capitalism. You can even add as many *100% unambiguous* lesbians as you want! Unlimited lesbians!
