I love it when games that don't stand of the test of time experience a resurgence of people rediscovering the game and giving it its flowers and find new and novel ways of playing it, and have extensive and still growing modding communities that are creating entire new worlds in it.

Shout out to the disaster that is the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring GBA game which I unwisely purchased thinking a well known fantasy property would warrant enough quality control to cancel out being a licensed GBA game. Most notably it caused some poor GameFAQs writer to crash out.

Like newgrounds was the breeding bed for most of that scene and alien hominid was kinda the game that proved it could have real games not just like pokemon death games. And it hit like ps2 and gamecube kinda paved the way for what came after.
