I just think posting has some uniquely bad foibles to fall into for actually trying to have a productive back-and-forth about a topic. I find it much more catered to short quips and pithy remarks than like, an actual roundtable of people trying to reach an interesting point.

It's very telling that so many recommendations for gacha games have to phrased "no but THIS ONE..." (has a really good story/is actually free to play friendly/has really good art/is really gay... etc). If your game relies on one half to excuse the other, why not just play a game that's all Other.
