There was a concerted effort in the 1980s-90s to dissuade the government from acting on AIDS by blaming not a virus but the "gay lifestyle," be it drugs or "promiscuity." If it's caused by a virus, it necessitates a public response. If it's caused by a lifestyle, then it's just individualized risks.

yes. these tools work 99% of the time, so please stfu. many of the people who helped populated this app over the past year were run off of twitter due to targeted harassment & unjustified suspensions. if you bring that culture with you here, you’re gonna end up on a block list.
