Eye on the ball folks! It seems the pipeline piece may well be a distraction. While a pipeline remains very unlikely, the practical impact of this deal are all the immediate concessions to oil & gas industry & the federal abandonment of core climate policies.

BREAKING: Alberta gets its way in deal with Ottawa
A newly signed memorandum of understanding gives Alberta almost its entire list of demands, from the removal of regulations to the fast-tracking of a pipeline.

As a person who owns property, please absolutely raise the property taxes and please push back against astronomical and unnecessary in every way police budget increases.

Thank you.

I am thankful every day for the Victoria Council members who, for more than a decade, have resisted the "bikelash" and made building a safe bike & roll network here. It's how this senior citizen gets around, and I love it.

The data on #Bikelanes are clear & consistent: GREAT for cities in just about every metric you can think of. So why are politicians across Canada attacking them? We dig in with @bikecalgary.bsky.social's Doug Clark & Alyssa Quinney

This is the first legit Alberta media outlet I've seen posting about the death of Dr Darren Markland. He was a bright light to so many as he shared his love of biking & challenges in Alberta's healthcare system. His voice will live on. Rest well. 💔

Wow. Montreal really leading the way.
Montreal has been THE North American model of smart, strategic street transformations into people-places. Each year has seen ambitious new moves that build on the years before — incremental, but NOT “slow” because they’ve been making big moves step-by-step.

Permanent Ste Catherine is a GREAT move.

Forestry in B.C. is absolutely still clear cuts and environmental disturbance, and the NDP government parroting corporate logging propaganda that says it isn't is straight-up dishonesty.

When some people think of forestry, they picture clear cuts, and environmental disturbance.

But that is not the forestry of today’s BC, or the future. Whether retention harvesting or tree planting, forestry has evolved.

Utilizing our forests is how we manage them.
