This is a shocking stat: « There are currently 152 people in hospital and 15 Albertans in the ICU because of the illness. »
Up until very recently, that number would have been zero. #Measles is preventable.

Seems doctors don’t like the idea of marinating kids in polio or measles.
Childhood vaccines prevent illness and save lives. The CMA stands with America's doctors to call on Florida to reverse its plans to end vaccine mandates, including those required for school attendance. Vaccines are one of the safest, most effective tools in the fight against preventable diseases.

AMA strongly opposes Florida’s plan to end all vaccine mandates, including those required for school attendance, and urges Florida to reconsider.

Canadian and American medical schools are, well, consciously uncoupling. 🇨🇦 This will protect Canadian universities from US political interference in medical education and will enable quicker, nimbler response to homegrown issues.
