so i've been honing my approach and i've landed on the optimal way to interact with cybertruck drivers: give them an enthusiastic thumbs up first, before dramatically turning it upside down and scowling. did it this morning and watched the light leave a man's eyes. very powerful

I can't stop laughing at this man I'm sorry. This is the kind of shit the biggest loser in the world would say to their girlfriend about buying her flowers on Valentine's Day once, and he's doing so in an argument that started because he called her a bitch

This is exactly right, I’ve said it 1,000 times, and @schumer.senate.gov and @schatz.bsky.social and @warren.senate.gov need to wake TF up and understand it:

These are abnormal times, the media isn’t covering things as abnormal, and that’s b/c Dem Senators are not ACTING like things are abnormal.

For those who sneer at this:

It doesn't fucking /matter/ if lawsuits like this are meritless. It doesn't matter if it'll get dismissed.

What matters is that companies now know that they will have to spend money defending expensive lawsuits like this from state AGs.

Because they hire women & POC.
Missouri's AG Andrew Bailey is suing Starbucks, arguing that its workforce is too "female" and "non-white" and as a result Missouri consumers “pay higher prices and wait longer for goods and services" because its workforce is "less qualified"

This is a brazenly racist and sexist lawsuit.

there’s an alternate universe where AI products were introduced in a measured way, workers thoughtfully figured out how to integrate them into extant workflows, and reasonable leaders didn’t use them as rationale for laying people off (and legally couldn’t)

unfortunately that’s not the one we’re in

He literally knows nothing about geography. This is going to do nothing but flood some people's farms. He's a fucking idiot.
Context for those (like DJT) who don't know geog:

This is like saying you opened a levee on the Mississippi and water "poured down" into AZ or NV

There are MOUNTAINS IN THE WAY. The water doesn't "flow down" from Miss to AZ, or Canada/PNW/Central Valley to LA.

He is thinking of "up" on a map.
Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast: "The water comes down from the northwest parts of Canada, I guess, but the Pacific Northwest. And it comes down by millions and millions of barrels a day and uh, I opened it up. It wasn't that easy to do. But I opened it up and it's pouring down."
