There is an irresponsible post circulating that (FALSELY) suggests that live rounds may have been fired at protesters at a Chicago-area ICE processing center. I am in communication with people who were on-site. The shots were pepper balls. Still terrible, but not live rounds. Pls don't spread panic.

The number of times I had to stop elderly customers from getting scammed by gift card scammers was astonishing. One customer was certain that they needed to buy $500 in Steam gift cards because Johnny Depp asked them to on Facebook.
PLEASE read this and down thread about how gift card scams work. Gift card scammers literally tried to kidnap my father in law, who only didn't get in a mysterious uber sent by strangers because his neighbor's daughter was at home.
Blessings upon these folks (and their kin such as cashiers who stop people from buying large numbers of gift cards) and their efforts
