This very much depends on what you define a scandal as.

Edward VIII is probably relieved that the abdication is now minor leagues, but, there's the various Henry's who weren't scandal free.

You would be kicked out of any writer’s room in existence if you had the villains celebrating a Great Gatsby-themed party while taking away food benefits from millions of poor people.

i see writers and artists sacrifice SO MUCH to be able to share their works with the world on the OFF CHANCE someone might see it and love it like they do.

and gen ai cronies think they can sidle up, do a little prompty prompt thefty theft and it makes them credible? please.

In terms of Wood Elves, the closest I've got are a couple by Steve Buddle (now a GW sculptor) and one old surly Elf Ranger by me!

This is my periodic encouragement that folks on that list to put their metadata about #TTRPG Actual Play into seriesseeker.com which allows audiences to search by system, length, and loads of other features.

(It’s also useful as a reflective exercise!)

Now all I can see is The Boss, wandering around St Hellier complaining that Jersey or not, it doesn't have the same vibe.
If The Boss ain’t careful Donny’s gonna revoke his passport and he’ll be forced to live in Paris or Barcelona or Capri and never see his beloved New Jersey again.

Work in progress. Basically done bar the base and sealing.

Was going to put it on Etsy but maybe it should be a gift instead.

Love a customer email asking for a possible bulk discount (doable!) just before seeing that same customer asking in a Facebook group for someone prepared to sell recasts of my work AND THEN someone offering to do just that for them.

Cthulhu Wars really is the poisoned chalice that keeps on giving.

Painting some Drow today.
Tried to get cute: gave their skin a palish grey colour (Vallejo Sombre Grey) and then a layer of well medium'd Army Painter Noble skin.

The hope? Dark blue grey looking skin.
The result: well, they have the sort of Drow skin Gygax would have approved of.
oh well, whatever

Finished the DaVale games Bloody High Elves (aka Noldor elves) for #MESBG.

What I thought would be a quick little side project turned into something lasting a month. Very pretty looking things, but they felt like an odd interstitial phase between old fashioned SBG minis and new, busy, 3d prints

36 years ago today Liverpool played Nottingham Forest in an FA Cup semi final at Hillsborough stadium in Sheffield, a neutral ground between the two cities with a high capacity.

97 Liverpool fans would die in a crowd crush as the Police abandoned control.

And then years of lies blaming the fans.

I heard a knobhead in the pub saying that maybe he's imagining it, but he feels as if he's in a 70s horror film because of the way people stand and glare at his TESLA when he drives it through the village. He's not imagining it. We've got a WhatsApp group.

"We are living through a responsibility recession." And it's culture-wide. On FB I once saw Seattle folks get upset about being expected to shovel their elderly neighbors' sidewalks after a snowstorm. "This is totally unreasonable. What if I was disabled?" Okay but you're not, and your neighbor *is*
