"who is and isn't a transsexual?" is the wrong question to ask! a better question to ask is "how transsexual do you desire to be?"
i do think transsexuality exists in degrees. there's the surgical aspect, the medical aspect, and also the reinterpretation of the body & its parts, the way they are used or understood. in the third sense, every transgender necessarily finds themselves at least a little bit transsexual

It's important that frodo and gandalf stabbed a lot of people shortly after this conversation and then Gandalf murdered a demon of the ancient world, by with a sword. They weren't feeling sorry for themselves. They immediately went and killed a bunch of people directly responsible for the problem.
