I spoke in Parliament today to challenge the misinformation from those claiming this tribunal as a 'win' for the anti-trans agenda.
In fact it found Ms Peggie harassed a colleague for being trans, and it dismissed almost all her claims.
It also found that trans segregation is not supported in law.

Much of the media coverage has missed key information, the most important aspect being that all claims against Dr Beth Upton were dismissed

This is like an extra layer of infuriating to me: it is one thing for you to want the law to say something, it is another thing entirely to insist we must believe it says and always has said that despite all evidence to the contrary and the most basic application of logic
if you genuinely want to argue that the Equality Act, when introduced, intended to make unlawful an approach to trans inclusion that has existed *since the 1970s*, I absolutely cannot take you seriously

Not looked at this properly yet but it's glaringly obvious that our equalities laws are no longer fit for purpose.
It bases this claim on FWS, which says there are only two 'biological sexes'. So it is using case law that says you cannot change 'biological sex' in order to justify an interpretation that non-binary people aren't protected in the equality act as we haven't sufficiently changed 'biological sex'

The government now wants teachers to explicitly teach that trans people have less rights than cis people, and that "biological sex" is different to your sex in terms of biology
