I can’t believe I’m about to get mad about a Jersey Shore ripoff but HERE WE ARE. I never watched it but I know the original was named after the specific location and featured a cast from the region.

I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

I love books, I love supporting authors, and I put more of my money than I can honestly reasonably spare into doing so. But this trend of some new romance novels coming out in hardcover - oof, y'all, that's a tough ask. It probably flips me from "buy it on day one" to "get it from the library."

well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.
