On top of better immediate options the City has, we need to keep emphasizing that mass homeless is a policy choice. A bad one. The City can advocate for, and do education about, better policy choices available w support from province & feds. e.g. bsky.app/profile/dave... #yyj

Worth noting that because Sim brought forward his proposal for a property tax freeze requiring millions in cuts with just weeks left in the budget process, this is not up for public debate and is not outlined in the documents available to councillors when they vote on this

After almost three decades, Canada has lost its measles elimination status.

That means in 2025, this extremely contagious disease spread consistently in our country for the first time since 1998.
