For no reason:

There was a time I was seeking higher-paying jobs in public service, media, etc. I had a lot of nibbles, and at Christmas 2023, was offered a government job.

I was overcome with panic as I considered taking it. It was what I wanted. I could "feel" more important, make a bit more.
Dismantled & put away Christmas — super organized — did a lot of the cleaning. Still have to put everything back in place but floors were vacuumed & mopped, everything wiped, furniture vacuumed, & soooooo much more. I’m gonna die.

Luckily I just have to poach a chicken breast for my Thai salad.

The all-Canadian social network Gander cannot launch soon enough.

I can’t wait until I get on ADHD meds and have more follow-through on complex tasks.

This is the year I de-Americanize my digital footprint.

Sucks that phones are American tho.

Welcome to Canada, gents. Please enjoy some complimentary coffee and Timbits. Then, if you drive about 600 miles north and turn left at the Lethbridge sign, you'll find all our oil. Enjoy as much as you like, compliments of the Prime Minister of Battle River-Crowfoot! Mi tierra es tu tierra!

Ultimately Americans need to decide if losing jobs or food or whatever from protesting and resisting is a higher price to pay than sitting on your asses while a third World War starts over your fucking psychotic in chief.

I have been thinking that the major divide in Canadian politics now is really wrestling with Trump’s US or wholly embracing it, and now Pierre Poilievre and Melissa Lantsman are praising Trump’s illegal attack on Venezuela while Danielle Smith pushes separation. It’s a really dangerous time.

For no reason whatsoever, I’m reminding you that before the US invaded Iraq in 2003, the Bush administration said that Iraq’s oil revenue would fund everything.

But ask me how I feel about living on the southernmost tip of an island jutting over the main Canadian border. (Not good.)
