I just remembered that First Monday isn’t publishing anymore and a wave of sadness washed over me. That was the first (academic) tech publication I knew of that talked about the human side of tech, and I wanted to be one of them once upon a time.

Fun fact: when I was in liberry skool, we had an assignment to create an online thesaurus (with broader terms, narrower terms, the whole nine yards) on any subject we wanted. For giggles, and because I was a new Canadian, I chose curling.
