Breaking: the bunny is named Hazel!! In case anyone needed some very light news today
One of my coworkers recently lost his bunny of many many years (sad) but adopted a new bunny this week so I've been suggesting names:
Lady Whistledown (he's a Bridgerton fan)
Poppy (short for Poppy Seed Bun)
Dr. Ellie Sattler (the bunny is a rex!)

Zissou is feeling the spirit of the William H. Macy Thanksgiving Day parade this morning, which is still 5 days before Thanksgiving.
He has another toy that's just a turkey, but he brought me the one with the hat.

I have a friend who worked on the rescue attempts and the end of life for the whale as part of the stranded marine mammal team - @thepaintpaddock.bsky.social. he says they're working to continue this partnership with the Siletz tribe which I think is incredible!!

My mom told me to order myself two cake pans using her credit card and her Amazon prime and yeah yeah Amazon is trash but it's so sweet that my mom can help make my birthday cake in a way even across state lines 🥹

I live in fear of the day something unsavory comes out about Chewy because they slid into Zissou's DMs asking about maybe sending him something for the holidays and I'm sorry but it makes me feel special when the corporation loves my dog as much as I do.
