And fewer requirements mean less adherence required in relation to federal laws, which protect students’ rights.

So many valuable comments in the discussion of a ridiculous NYT article. Here’s an educator. Already reposted a historian’s comment.
(you need to sit still for tests and test prep, and meds can help with that) but blaming Autism on standardized testing is really nuts.

I wish more people would talk about how testing has undermined education, but they should do it by talking to people who have to spend hours a day in the classroom

One of the people arrested on September 27 at Broadview was a 70-yo Air Force veteran who was hospitalized with his injuries from ICE assault. First charged w/felony, then misdemeanor.

He was going to call Greg Bovino at trial.

It just got dismissed.
