I single handedly blame the “not resting” over every other factor.
Being female is part of that.
We’ve been conditioned to “keep calm and carry on” despite adversity.
We don’t even notice we are still going when we think we have stopped.
Why aren’t Labour talking about the risk to families living in Britains most deprived communities? If you are a single parent mum, who can’t afford to take time off work and rest, you have a 3 factor risk of #LongCovid

Here's what people don't understand:

Long COVID isn't mild symptoms, lasting longer. It's COVID-induced dysregulation that prevents the mitochondria from doing their job. It's affecting millions, like me. Forcing former athletes to inactivity. The very definition of purgatory. Not dead, not living.

Capitalization affects how people read hashtags or how people hear them on screen readers. Use #camelCase or #PascalCase in hashtags instead of lowercase. You could have #DoctorWhoRewatch ("Doctor Who Rewatch") or #doctorwhorewatch ("doctor whore watch.")

Broken record territory rapidly approaching, but once again: Homelessness is not a societal inevitability. It's a policy failure.

This is a solvable issue with a known solution, even under capitalism, because that solution is less expensive than the current responses.

We just don't want to do it.

1. The single most pernicious and damaging societal imperative I see in action right now, with Ireland in a Covid wave, is this:

'There's no need to test'.

Why? Not just because it tacitly normalises unmitigated transmission, but, more importantly, it hides Long Covid.
