This looks like one of the largest protests on Beach St. in weeks, where the city of Broadview is still enforcing a small “free speech” zone. It’s packed.

I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.

He tells me that it "is important that our Catholic detainees are able to receive pastoral care and have access to the sacraments. Their religious liberty, part of their human dignity, needs to be respected."
