It for sure feels that way, but we’re not alone in the struggle. If there is anything I’ve learned it’s that by tending to our lives collectively, we shape ourselves towards a future where all are equal and free. Liberation is worth fighting for, always.

LA area folks, please be aware, ICE will be moving into our areas soon.
BREAKING NEWS: various sources from the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) have confirmed in the Los Angeles. Time leaked a memo stating that on February 23rd, 2025, ICE will start their “lock and talk” practices in the greater Los Angeles area. Important Reminders: 1) these “knock and talk“ practices are unconstitutional (Kidd v Mayorkas, 2024) 2) DO NOT open the door unless they have a judicial warrant signed by a judge. the name MUST be spelled correctly. 3) If they try to use violent or aggressive tactics and you’re a mixed status family, make a plan as to who will respond. 4) if you are documented or an ally and see ICE agents and private areas, such as driveways, backyards, the sides of a house or inside an apartment building, they CANNOT be there without a warrant. Try to stop them in a safe manner. document the encounter and ask them what they are doing there. Protect your community before the agents have a chance to harass anyone.
