If its blasphemy to some, then I want nothing to do with those some.

Glass Onion is a fantastic film.
I quite like Glass Onion, which I realize is BLASPHEMY to some, but I find its presentation of our glossy dystopia to be closer to the mark than most other movies made of late.
It's also bleakly funny that even in 2022 I thought it was laying it on awful thick about tech bro douches, but if anything Norton's character is way too aware of other people as a concept and is at least attempting to fake an interesting inner life.

I'm sorry, if the consensus suddenly decreed that GLASS ONION is no longer the good movie we all (correctly) decided it was when we watched it initially then I am just done, because the shit's gone too far

Why is it that fucking Glass Onion keeps being one of the best movies about American politics?
Trump creates impunity by behaving criminally. But the more criminal he becomes, the worse the consequences if his criminality ever exceeds his impunity. It's a dynamic with an inherent risk of spectacular collapse - he has climbed very high and can therefore fall very, very hard.

Rian Johnson is one of our greatest living filmmakers. Uncanny wit, biting satire. Each of Johnson’s mysteries are that much more than they initially appear. Funny little puzzles, pieced together they reveal America as it is.

To give you an idea of how "AI" has fucked up the holiday season, their insane demand for RAM chips that's barely even being used has caused a production drought for every other application.

Meaning right now you can buy a cheap PC, yank the RAM, and sell it on eBay for twice what the PC costs.

Companies ignore when their employees are harassed because standing up for them could affect their bottom line, because a sect of gamers cherish harassing those they deem other. Ignoring that behavior and then caving to their obscene demands keeps the industry firmly in their claws.

I'm immensely sick of the figure heads of game dev companies being silent about the harassment of game devs. This is how this nonsense becomes "the norm" and it should have never been accepted as such in the first place.

This looks so ass.

But god damn it's so funny Sony slapped a lawsuit on that Light of Motiram MMO that was blatantly copying Horizon, only to reveal something that looks like a cheap knock-off anyway.

Sometimes, I will run into bizarrely dismissive takes on Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, like...they're not exceptionally well made open world games with genuinely cool SF worldbuilding and really cool, unique features?

It's very strange
