I think Americans are realizing that democracy is a participation sport, and the the government is ours if we want it to be. I feel like we got complacent and hoped some other third party would do the work for us. Seems like we have to learn that lesson every generation.

Not sure how but the Big Ten needs to figure out a way to make the scheduling more interesting. Ohio State's best win is overhyped Texas. Michigan is 8-2 and their best win is what, Nebraska? Indiana's last 6 B1G opponents have a combined 6 conference wins. 18 teams in a conference was stupid.

One thing that's been heavily proven to me is Bluesky is not all politics. The music, record, cd, movie, books, horror and lots more scenes are heavily alive and well here with almost zero negativity. Better engagement here than Facebook has been in years.

My understanding is that Kevin Hassett has always had one talent, and that is: Telling fanatical old rich men exactly what they want to hear, with a flattering look on his face.
He is the kind of right wing “economist” who exists because such people have to exist in that world.
