To clarify, this list was in the speaker information request, received a few weeks before the event. I was confused whether HB261 & the prohibited words/concepts really apply to me, so I reached out to the university contact listed on the request. She advised me that yes, they do. After, I withdrew.

This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

Really? Does that mean GW was too? Like I said, not a fan of Cheney or the GOP but there’s a difference between their upholding a democracy vs fascism which destroys and replaces democracy with authoritarianism. Our democracy checked Cheney and he abided by it. A fascist would not have.

The infrastructure of the fascist state, it’s surveillance arms, and it’s paramilitary parallel justice system have been under construction for decades, and now the scaffolding is being fully integrated into the construction of government in ways that most of us still do not fully grasp.

Another name for this would be "pre-existing conditions," a way used to exclude disabled people from health care for decades in the US.
Understand, when you hear people talk about "rewarding the healthy" - these are policies that have a body count.
