I think it is very unlikely that most of these are Russian influence agents, and considerably more likely that they are people from developing economies who have cottoned on to ways to make relatively large amounts of money for them by being paid-per-view by X.
This week we learned that many of the most active Twitter accounts are foreigners, most likely Russian influence agents, operating in the guise of Red State Americans.

We do know who killed JFK. The Warren Commission was an incredibly thorough and good-faith effort to prove and document what had happened, which they did. The conspiracy theories arose in spite of best efforts to avoid them, but there really isn't anything they could have reasonably done better.
My first political memory - exactly 62 years ago right now, a 4-year-old boy trying to understand his mom's tears - is still the biggest event in my lifetime. We still (IMO) don't *really* know who killed JFK, but we know the public's trust was shattered. It's a straight line to today's mess

Right after my second birth, I had a postpartum hemorrhage. This happens in about 1% of births. Whenever I talk about this, free birth advocates ask what interventions I had in the hospital that caused the hemorrhage. None. There wasn't time. I gave birth 30 minutes after being admitted.

The Christians that sing Cohen’s Hallelujah in church without knowing all the lyrics are the same ones that expound at length about the Bible, without really knowing all of it too.

This is a good example of obvious bullshit and why conspiratorial antisemitism makes you dumb. No, it doesn’t actually make sense to think the DHS gov account is managed out of Israel. that’s actually a really stupid thing to think.

I'm not being funny, but Americans do not need Israeli help to run an account full of fascism and people should interrogate why they were quick to believe /that/ one.

So much for people making hay over the DHS thing
okay this image is weird. when i pasted it in gimp the artifacts became a lot less noticeable. same thing when i move my browser window to a different monitor. but yeah i bumped the exposure on the image to make the editing much more clear

Odds are good that their 'synthetic audiences' are designed to tell management whatever it wants to hear, because they'll blame the engineers if they get feedback they don't like.

AI is a wonderful source of organizational natural selection. Many companies run by idiots won't be companies for long.

Ha I was just posting a less pointed version of this. "There are too many c-sections and dismissive doctors causing trauma" and "medical expertise saves lives" are both true! It's not simple for the everyday pregnant person to parse and there's so much propaganda.

Please hear me when I say that

1) these anti-medical woo birth movements have been a primary feeder into anti-vaxx eugenic movements

2) they pre-date the age of social media

3) they exist because we have not addressed medical sexism and specifically obstetric violence

Absolutely this. I'd add that many conspiracy movements focused on women's health exist because the medical establishment has completely failed women. I know so many people whose doctors drove them to strange behavior in desperation.

"A wall between the sections?" "Nope"
"Different sides of the restaurant?" "We wish"
"Then what?" "A little sign that said no smoking section, positioned between the last smoking table and the first non smoking one"

In 2001, working the night shift at Burger King, I was in charge of removing all the disposable aluminum ash trays we had in our "smoking section", which consisted of the three tables furthest from the food service counter, and our Manager's office, which was a 7x7 cube with opaque air.
What a weird society we were.

speaking as a virginia beach native if these kind of dudes are plotting against ICE then there is wide runway in public opinion for straight up abolishing the agency under a dem presidency

Virginia Beach assistant principal John Bennett and Mark Bennett charged for conspiring threats against police and ICE agents. Both are held without bond.
