I’m curious if ICE & DHS have begun using civil forfeiture to seize assets & property from the undocumented individuals they’ve abducted. Perhaps not. The street goons may just be looting them without the niceties of a legal process.

The Presidency may be her long term goal, but in the near term MTG is more likely shooting for Senator or Governor. Pray for the people of Georgia if she succeeds at either of those.

“Barely legal” is used in porn to refer to a woman who appears to be just over the age of consent, typically 18. Barely legal in no way refers to a girl under the age of consent, certainly not a 15 year old. Using a term from porn to excuse or justify child abuse is despicable.

Trump said he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose votes. With the current Gang of Four, Bondi, Noem, Miller & Patel, the question is whether ICE/DHS agents can shoot someone there and escape without consequence. But it’s not really a question if you already know the answer.

I don’t think a “we’ll discuss it later” compromise to reopen the government works. What’s the point? The Republicans will never fund the ACA. Even if they did, Trump would veto or withhold the funds. If you’re compromising to expose Republican hypocrisy, don’t bother. We know they’re untrustworthy.

How soon will ICE transition from kidnapping parents in front of their kids to kidnapping kids in front of their parents? The kids will be held hostage in detention or foster care until the parents agree to be deported.

The word is that ICE won’t accept applications from NYPD officers. ICE considers them over qualified. Any actual law enforcement training is a disqualifying factor for employment on ICE goon squads.

Trump bragged he was both President and Speaker of the House. He’s right. Mike Johnson said he hadn’t heard about it, because he’s been busy.
Has there ever been a weaker Speaker of the House than Mike Johnson, who just picks up the phone each day, says ‘yes sir’ a bunch of times, then hangs up and does what he’s told? Which is do nothing and lie constantly.

I haven’t heard yet what Trump plans to charge Jamaica for the rescue and recovery efforts done by US military.
Perhaps he’ll just send his 2 sons to monitor the recovery, while simultaneously negotiating a deal for a “Trump Jamaica” resort & golf course. In that case, no reimbursement is required.

Sadly, I believe that in addition to the stunning rebuke of the Trump regime, the election results may have moved him closer to some kind of action, like a nationwide emergency declaration or some other means to try and suppress the American people and seize more control of the federal government.

Instead of the media repeatedly estimating how much more ACA premiums will be, how about reporting an estimate of how many people will simply drop their health insurance because they can’t afford it anymore.

Democrats have got to get a little more aggressive with the “Own the MAGAs” program.
