So I'm in this weird and unique and extremely privileged sitch: i basically need the equivalent income of a part-time job. i know other artists manage to do this by selling originals and maintaining patreons. I would be thrilled to do little paintings and ceramics, if i could figure this out!!

I’m dying. The first session the kid runs and he TPKs the party in a wildly imbalanced encounter, clearly enjoying every second until the final blow and then he got the WHAT HAVE I DONE look and almost burst into tears. Oh to be a 12-year-old boy discovering RPGs

Today in Kafkaesque absurdities, a professional pilot can't access the FCC's website to get a Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (an "RR"). An RR is required to fly internationally, but there is no test for it - you just give the FCC $35 dollars and they give you a magic piece of paper.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages
