I really wish OSes wouldn't animate anything. Let my computer be faster than my brain! I clicked in a scroll bar gutter to skip hundreds of pages in a PDF and it animated scrolling all the way there 😩

Decades ago I worked in IT and I would run a password cracker on our user database as a sort of pen test. It would always say "running" and then quit, which I took to mean it was running and then didn't find anything it could decrypt. Took me months to realize someone's password was just "running"
